About
Where leadership meets learning. The Lab is our interactive learning space for interns who play a key role in delivering, supporting, and strengthening the day-to-day impact of Step’s Foundation programs. This Program Operations & Support Track is designed for both Program Coordinators and Peer Educators, giving you the tools, mindset, and confidence to lead from within. In this track, you’ll learn how to support program logistics, build strong relationships with youth and families, and create safe, engaging environments where learning and healing can happen. Whether you’re leading a session, managing attendance, or co-creating with youth, you are central to how our programs come to life. Inside The Lab, you’ll explore: ✅ Step’s Foundation’s mission, trauma-informed practices, and facilitation values ✅ Program coordination skills like scheduling, documentation, and logistics ✅ Peer educator tools for leading discussions, supporting youth voice, and co-facilitating with confidence ✅ Real-world scenarios to strengthen problem-solving and team collaboration ✅ Reflection prompts to deepen self-awareness, empathy, and leadership growth You’ll move through the program at your own pace, earn a Certificate of Completion, and leave equipped to lead with integrity, support your team, and create spaces where youth and families can thrive. Welcome to The Lab: Program Operations & Support—where behind-the-scenes work makes frontline impact.
