About the Event
This virtual information session is part of Phase 2 of the Healing in Community Initiative, a year-long, community-centered effort to promote mental wellness through stories, connection, and culturally responsive education.
During this session, we will introduce two nationally recognized mental health tools designed to empower adults who support youth:

How to recognize signs of mental health and substance use challenges in youth (ages 12–18)
The 5-step ALGEE action plan to respond in crisis and non-crisis situations
