At Step's Foundation, we believe in recognizing and rewarding the dedication, leadership, and resilience of the youth we serve. Over the years, we’ve had the honor of awarding scholarships to incredible students who’ve shown perseverance, academic growth, and a commitment to making a difference in their communities.

2021 Scholarship Winner

Ida Mae Ward Humanitarian Scholarship

Shania Thomas graduated from Bishop Moore High School. She was part of our life skills program for 2020-2021.  She is very excited about her future.  She plans to pursue nursing and continue helping her community.

Ida Mae Ward Humanitarian Scholarship

Massimo Rubera graduated from Osceola High School.  He enjoys being active in his community and plans to pursue a degree in sports medicine. He's a bright young man with many things ahead of him.

2022 Scholarship Winner

Ida Mae Ward Humanitarian Scholarship

Cesar Acevedo graduated from Zenith Accelerated Learning Academy.  He has been a part of our Retain Your Brain and Survival Program both virtually and in-person. He has the heart of an artist, but he looks forward to attending O-Tech to pursue Welding and later attend Valencia Community College to pursue Digital Arts.  He is a true overcomer of obstacles showing us what resilience truly looks like.

2024 Scholarship Winner

Ripple Effect of Kindness Scholarship

Tammoya Parker graduated from Ocoee High School.  She started out as a high school summer intern through CareerSource and dedicated her senior year to being a student in our Survival Program.  She truly exemplified what kindness looks like.   Tammoya is set to attend the University of South Florida for Health Sciences.

We’re not currently accepting scholarship applications, but we’re always working to secure future funding that will allow us to continue supporting students like you.
