At Step's Foundation, interns don’t observe, they lead, create, connect, and inspire. From managing outreach campaigns to co-facilitating youth programs, our internship team is an essential part of our mission. Whether you're planning a community event, mentoring a teen, or managing social media strategy, you’ll be gaining professional experience that matters, both on paper and in people's lives.

We welcome college-level interns from diverse fields, including social work, education, business, psychology, public health, communications, nonprofit management, and more. If you're passionate, adaptable, and ready to make a difference, there’s a place for you here.

Available Internship Roles

Program Coordinator

(Hybrid)

Support the delivery of our programs and workshops.
Assist in curriculum setup, session logistics, student engagement, and real-time program feedback.

Marketing Coordinator

(Virtual)

Spread our mission through creative media and strategy.
Manage social media platforms, design content, and support event promotion and brand messaging.

Volunteer Coordinator

(Hybrid)

Help us manage the heart of our work, our volunteers.
Assist in scheduling, communication, and onboarding for event and program volunteers.

Advocacy & Outreach Coordinator (Hybrid)

Be the voice of Step's Foundation in the community.
Support advocacy campaigns, engage with partner organizations, and assist with outreach and tabling events.

Peer Educator

(Hybrid)

Lead and connect through mentorship and learning.
Facilitate discussions, share experiences, and help guide younger peers in youth-centered sessions.

Case Management Support (Hybrid)

Help ensure families and students are connected to the right services.
Assist with resource referrals, intake documentation, and administrative support related to student needs.

Time Commitment & Requirements

Internship cycles available Fall, Spring, and Summer
Must be currently enrolled in a college/university program
Minimum of 10-20 hours per week (can be flexible based on program requirements)
Hybrid roles available (some positions require in-person delivery)
